In this Jubilee year where we are invited to become Pilgrims of Hope, we invite you to join us as we journey from Wolverhampton to Mid Wales carrying a cross in memory of Jesus’ walk to Calvary. It is a walk of witness and a chance to build new friendships in faith, while preparing to celebrate the Easter Triduum.

We will be gathering on the evening of Saturday 12th April, ready to start our pilgrimage walk after Palm Sunday Mass at St Christopher’s Codsall. Our route takes us through the glorious Staffordshire, Shropshire and Welsh countryside in time for the community Easter Retreat. Highlights of the route include walking through the Ironbridge Gorge, up Carding Mill Valley and onto the Long Mynd, and following the Kerry Ridgeway.

Along the way we will be staying in church and village halls, so you will need a camping mat/bed and sleeping bag. We will also be supported by a minibus team, so you don’t need to carry your luggage. The minibus team will also meet us throughout the day so there is always the option to sit out a leg.

Please book via the link before 31st March, although earlier booking is preferred. If you have any questions get in touch by emailing yacrosswalk@lcsb.uk.
